Still Sealed/New:   Sealed in original shrink wrap any tears in the shrink wrap will be noted in the description.  Many folks insist that only sealed records can be described as “Mint”.  However many sealed records are not MINT  some sealed records are warped, may have pressing flaws, (pits, bubbles, off-center spindle holes, etc.) or even need to be cleaned.  The only way to know if a sealed record is MINT is to open it and inspect it very closely. 

Near Mint "Pristine"- Very rare grade. Only a very carefully inspected record that appears perfect will be graded as Near Mint "Pristine."

Near Mint or NM  A record with full gloss and likely played a handful of times, may have one or two very slight flaws. Very Near perfect. Only a very few barely visible scuffs and minor impalpable hairline scratches are OK on an NM record. And an NM Jacket will be Near perfect with slightest signs of wear; maybe one bumped corner or a hint of edge wear. 

Very Good Plus Plus VG++ (eBay equivalent is EX) Record may have some very light marks or some light sleeve scuffing. An EX/VG++ record is nearly NM, which means there’s hardly any sign that it’s ever been played, any scuffs and scratches should be impalpable and not sound at all.  The jacket may have the very lightest signs of ring wear, some light corner or edge wear.

Very Good Plus VG+ Record will have some very light scratches or marks that may sound briefly in a quiet passage.  A VG+ record will not have pops or crackles. There is very little difference between VG+ and VG++.   Same goes for the jacket it is very close to VG++, and any issues will be clear in the photos. 

Very Good VG Record may have several light scratches and scuffs that may cause a few very light low-level pops and crackles. Still a desirable record grade and a nice listening experience..

Very good minus VG- or Good G Very Rare grade. 99.5% of records in this condition we will not sell unless it is an extremely valuable record in this case condition will be described in detail.
