PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! SCARCE original 1968 FIRST pressing of the second and last CIRCUS MAXIMUS album with the trippy title of NEVERLAND REVISITED....the harest to find and BEST Circus Maximus album...
"Neverland Revisited" was the second and last album by this psychedelic outfit. Ethereal vocals and harmonies, great organ solos and trippy fuzzy guitar. Hippie vibes all over the place!!!

Many of the songs on 'Neverland Revisited' are good enough musically to have been top 10 singles on the pop charts if the lyrics weren't so over the top. The music inhabits an odd niche-not exactly a concept album, and definitely not a collection of pop singles, though after hearing them just a few times you start thinking these would have been infectious radio hits. In a way, on "Neverland', Circus Maximus is writing/playing a lengthy and telling musical essay on the state of underground pop/rock circa 1968. The way which the band engages/energizes the relative depths and superficialities of that contemporary range of 'traditions'/styles, and then takes the music to greater heights, can seem quite mind-boggling. Then there are the acid edged rock songs. Bob Bruno plays more incisive acid lead guitar than the best of the Airplane, the Dead, and Quicksilver, plus the tunes are tighter, never degenerating into the long boring jams so often characteristic of the era. And the harmony vocals of each chorus are every bit as good as what one hears on the first album [that one filled mostly with folk rock and '66-era garage à la Byrds/Moby Grape. Note that both Bob Bruno's and Jerry Jeff Walker's tunes are gems each one in its own right.
