We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Silver Apples made two very collectible albums in 1968 and this one in 1969 ...
CONTACT has a slight edge over its first album. Electronically charged yet more mature, incredibly established in its own original sound. Not drone and not straight psychedelic and not Kruatrock and not rock. So what is it? can you feel it/see it/touch it? manage it? Don't try to label it but know its early sci-fi spacerock & progressive for sure, completely aware of the unorthodox musical structure while making a statement on typical songs by not being a typical album. In that alone it is important. Aside from all their amazing electronic innovations the song "I Have Known Love" showcases some totally strong pop vocal work. Totally give these guys props for throwing a banjo into this crazy grinder (on the track "Ruby"). Many people underestimate the depth of this album... expect and fully embrace Simeon's melodramatic lyrics, Danny's robotnikgroove drumming, the trippy electronics and you will fall in love with this album...
