PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1969 TWO-TONE Reprise very first print in exceptionally CLEAN condition... 47 years of age, well handled to say the least ... PEARLS BEFORE SWINE released a few highly acclaimed folk-psych underground LP's in the late '60s and turn of the '70s..."These Things Too" remains an accomplished folk effort, here's what one collector noted further:
The FAN MAN says: "Both sides of the record contain some great songs. Maybe it is because Tom Rapp devoted this record to his wife Elisabeth (who takes care of the woman vocals) that this record is a bit more "dreamy" in sound and less obscure/ psychedelic then the previous recordings. The recordings themselves are more "difficult" and this record took me longer to appreciate then the earlier recordings. This record is still growing on me however. Most of the album sustains the same somber and barren mood as the opening track “Footnote”, with plenty of lyrical alliteration that makes for hours of deciphering for anyone so inclined. The one exception is the odd and out-of-place “Frog in the Window”, which for some reason appears twice with the first having a sort of vaudevillian aura and the second version being more folksy thanks largely to the replacing of bouncy celesta with a mellow banjo and Elizabeth Rapp’s gentle backing vocals."

CONDITION: The cover: rated: Easily soiled, here is a nice M- example of a TOP copy, no issues... the seams are sound, flat & square no bends, no writing, no delete marks... VERY collection worthy
The vinyl: Rated: M- glossy shine through both sides, no problems, will play TOP level. Both two-tone Reprise labels are clean Clean and glossy with very enjoyable CLEAN audio ...play back should not reveal alarming distracting surface problems ... both labels are clean
