For all practical purposes we consider ourselves to have a 100% feedback rating - and hopefully so should you, despite the 9 negative feedbacks we disastrously just received.
We have had the unfortunate experience of a notorious mean spirited (etc.) buyer who purchased many of our weekly listings, when he suddenly became manipulative in handing out unwanted advice which moved into relentless harassment - including threats to issue negative feedback unless demands were met, as in to send him upgrades for records he purchased, exclaiming unreasonable nonexistent issues, as well as his amateur understanding of pressings and labels. In his weekly bidding participation - he keeps the seller paralyzed over his threats of negative feedback "if something is not met in his demands."
We came to a point where this buyer became so abusive using personal attacks with foul language and insults, we declared, never again. He was blocked from our listings. He went berserk, writing and phoning stating 80 percent of our listings met his expectations -- untrue, in reality he complained about everything unless it was upgraded - at our expense -- then attempted to claw his way back to us to become unblocked. When we refused to give in, he followed in a tirade issuing us 9 negative feedbacks (the only negatives on our seller's profile) declaring on each negative potential damaging untrue statements about our merchandise and warning all buyers to stay away. We have a have a distinguished reputation with eBay Records for the past 20 years -he is the only ONE who has made such false claims. Some of the negatives given were absolutely for MINT records, others were SEALED and never opened! This is 100% obvious blatant retaliation for his being blocked, but it didn't end there.
Horrible e-mails have followed after he issued the negatives, ridiculing and gloating that he "got away with damaging our reputation on eBay", and that his goal is to continue to contact eBay and twist their arm in an attempt to get us banned from the site. He claimed he has contacts all over the U.S. and they would continue his dirty work for him. Sure enough, we have confirmed information that a friend of his bid on one of our records to be handed over to the blocked bidder. Because of that, we are anticipating more damaging negative remarks. Now there is an ongoing conspiracy concocted by this buyer in effort to undermine us at all costs by using any measure - all because we had no choice but to exercise our seller's right to block him.
Some other sellers on eBay have contacted us stating the same issues occurred with them by this same bad buyer. Others have contacted asking for his IDs so they can avoid having to sell to this obvious problem buyer. We were noted that he had 4 different alias ID's, with two of them being suspended. Why he is allowed to keep his other two active is a total mystery. In the words of one of the bad buyer's victims "I hope you guys can get him removed off eBay." We are in the process of working with upper management in eBay to rid this parasite from causing further discord in an effort to protect ourselves and the entire eBay community.
In the meantime, our plan is to continue our eBay ID and weekly music service listings designed for all the many great collectors who have supported our reputable hard work for the past 20 years on ebay. We truly appreciate your continued support, and on our part will continue to serve you and not allow this unscrupulous individual interfere with our love of supplying the world with the glue that holds us together....music.

1977 issue just before this band were involved in "the airline crash"
The fifth album from the legendary Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd, Street Survivors, was, sadly, the last album recorded by founding members Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins, as well as new guitarist Steve Gaines. On October 20, 1977, just three days after the album was released, a chartered plane carrying the three bandmates crashed in Louisiana, taking seven lives in all. The album cover featured a photograph — shot at Universal Studios — of the band engulfed in flames: an image that was hard to ignore as an unfortunate and macabre premonition of the tragedy that soon followed.
At the request of the band’s families, the fiery picture was moved to the back of the album, and a new photo from the same shoot — with the band placed against a black background — was used on the cover.
Street Survivors was going to be the album that would make Lynyrd Skynyrd even bigger stars. They had already dented the mainstream, reaching the Top 10 with "Sweet Home Alabama" in 1974, and picking up a sizable following of Southern rock fans since releasing their 1973 debut. But Street Survivors, released on Oct. 17, 1977, was supposed to catapult them into a whole other realm of rock-star popularity.
The year before, they added a guitarist, Steve Gaines, who also sang and wrote. They sharpened their pop hooks, becoming a more soulful group as a result. And they tinkered with the album to the point where they scrapped the original recordings and returned to a Georgia studio with producer Tom Dowd to tweak all of the songs.
But three days after this fifth album was released on Oct. 17, 1977, the band’s plane went down, killing singer Ronnie Van Zant, Gaines and Gaines’ backup-singer sister Cassie, as well as a crew member and the two pilots. And Lynyrd Skynyrd’s legacy was sealed.
Street Survivors eventually hit No. 5 -- their highest-charting album. Its lead single, "What's Your Name," reached No. 13, their second-highest charting song. Gaines co-wrote and shared vocals with Van Zant on another single, "You Got That Right," and contributed the Southern boogie "I Know a Little."
And the LP holds up as the band’s all-time best, a smart, soulful look at the rock-star lifestyle they were caught up in and growing tired of. "That Smell," one of the album’s most popular songs, is one of Van Zant’s shrewdest, an anti-drug warning written to keep the band, and its hard-partying members, alive. But the “smell of death,” as Van Zant sings, was surrounding them.
Famously, the album’s original cover – featuring the band’s seven members engulfed in flames – was quickly pulled after the accident and replaced by an alternate shot of the group standing in front of a stark black background. Street Survivors has since been reissued with the flame artwork restored. Outtakes have also showed up on various releases over the years, including a 2008 edition of the album featuring the original recordings the band made in Florida before replacing them five months later with the versions heard on the released album. No matter how you hear them, they rank among the band’s most focused and tightest group of songs.
