Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This ultra rare and highly collectible LP release -- from 1963 -- by the '50's-'60's R'n'R/DooWop group, The Miracles, is on the yellow with two globes, Tamla Label and is in nice, overall condition---especially the vinyl. The album is entitled, "The Fabulous Miracles" and features 10 great early songs of their's -- before they became "Smokey Robinson and The Miracles. :):):) It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead, including more early LPs by The Miracles, Roy Orbison, and The Platters amongst others. As mentioned already, this LP is in very nice overall condition -- although it does have a few flaws which are mentioned below -- and features 10 great songs from that time---most of which were Smokey Robinson penned, including their hit "You've Really Got A Hold On Me". In my opinion, the condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are very good, but, please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge it all for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the Tamla Label, 238, in original MONO. I don't see many spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me it may have been played somewhat sparingly. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice---except for just a couple very light surface/paper lines. Otherwise, is is practically as nice as the day it was first purchased almost 50 years ago. JACKET INFO: The picturesque group pic cover is also in decent shape, but does have the most room for improvement. It has a few scuff marks along the seam areas and in the corners. Also, there is what appear to be a very light old, 3"-4" moisture-like mark in one bottom corner on the jacket----this is visible in the pics below. Otherwise, it is just fine. So again, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself---regardless of the mentioned flaws, this is one very rare and very hard to find LP. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early and rare 1950-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of decent overall shape, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all genres to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in super good shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time.
