MIRK - MODDAN'S BOWER

1977 uk Mother Earth MUM 1025. NM. Here is a superb very rare original 1977 Folk/Acid-Folk album by the excellent obscure Scottish band 'Mirk'. Every track on this very rare album is simply brilliant, Margie Sinclair's thick Scottish accent lead vocals gives this album something special that sets it apart from almost all other folk albums that you will hear. With this listing i have included complete MP3s of all tracks, these MP3s were taken directly from the vinyl. If you listen to these tracks you will hear what a fantastic album "Moddan's Bower" really is, to me it's musically just as good as the legendary 'Spriguns Of Tolgus - Jack With a Feather' folk album. CONDITION = NM

The vinyl is in brilliant near mint condition, both sides have that excellent just pressed sheen with no bad marks, scuffs or scratches, there are only a couple of very minor light top surface markings that really are so minor that they have no affect on play, all tracks play and sound really superb throughout with barely a trace of background noise, this album has only ever had just a few careful plays on a decent turntable since new, so there is no lessoning in the sound quality at all, every track plays and sounds top excellent MINT- throughout, please listen to the MP3s to decide for yourself how well this rare album plays. Both matt blue Mother earth labels are excellent with minimal signs of play, there are no marks or signs of wear and no visible spindle traces around the centre hole. The single card sleeve is nice apart from a stain in one top corner, this stain appears on both sides, the back cover also has a couple of black biro tics, one very small and one larger one. Apart from this obvious fault the cver is in great shape. The poly-lined inner sleeve is in excellent clean condition.
