Description

This is an excellent condition (near mint) copy of the very rare 'Moddan's Bower' 1979 UK vinyl LP from Mirk on the Mother Earth label (catalogue no. MUM 1205). The sleeve is excellent with only a couple of creases on the front bottom corners. The spine is also excellent. Although listed under English Folk they actually come from Caithness in the north of Scotland (can hardly get more northern) and feature Ian and Margie Sinclair and Ray Crompton with sleevenotes from Dick Gaughan. For the purists Ray is actually English but has taken well to Scottish folk music. Mirk is an old Scots word meaning the darkness. Step aside Justin Hawkins.
