Mischa Elman Mendelssohn: Concerto In E Minor and Lalo: Symphonie Espagnole with Vladimir Golschmann conducting the Vienna State Opera Orchestra Vanguard (cat# VSD 2047) Original 1960 1A Pressing
This is a wonderful copy of Mischa Elman's 1960 LP on Vanguard (cat # 2047) where he is performing Mendelssohn's Concerto In E Minor and Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole with Vladimir Golschmann conducting the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. The jacket is very nice with no bent corners or excessive wear.... just a few places where the ink has rubbed off, some light yellowing (possibly dirt) around the rear cover and the spine does have some cracks but it does not appear to be split. The vinyl is beautiful and shinny and only suffers cosmetically from an inaudible surface scratch on the b-side. The black labels look very nice with very light spindle marks. Because of these minor flaws, we are letting this go far below recent auction prices in hopes for it to find a worthy home. Please have a look at the photos!
