MISS HUE LEE on 1951 Columbia 39420 - Rose, Rose, I Love You / An Autumn Melody
Columbia 39420, 78 RPM
Record is in Very Nice E- / VG++ condition, plays beautifully. Labels are good, radio station sticker and tape on both labels.
This record was found in an old radio station library in eastern Massachusetts.

Miss Hue Lee, also credited as Yao Lee, Yao Li and Yiu Lei, was a legendary Chinese popular singer. Her 1940 recording of "Rose, Rose, I Love You" became the song she was most famous for. Originally released in China it was also released in the UK and the US. This is the US release. Miss Lee passed away in Hong Kong last month (July 19, 2019) at the age of 97.
