- Titles are ‘Jackson Stomp' b/w 'Alma Waltz'................................................Charlie McCoy with the Mississippi Mud Steppers cut the remarkable instrumental “Jackson Stomp”, based on the seminal “Cow Cow Blues”, (the song was modified as “The Lonesome Train That Took My Baby Away” at a Charlie McCoy session with Bo Carter on guitar). The song is a dazzling, virtuoso mandolin performance. McCoy further showcases his versatility on a waltz playing mandolin on “Alma Waltz (Ruby Waltz)” .
- Here are the details:
- The record is in wonderful E condition - there is however a warp which does not affect play and is more noticeable on side 2
- The labels are fine
