VARIOUS ARTISTS - In Progress (People Unite PU104) - LP - 1984
Tracks: Misty In Roots - City Runnings, Abacush - Batta Dem, African Woman - Warrior Queen, Pauline - Babylon, African Woman - Awake, Pauline - Vision, Abacush - Backattack, Misty In Roots - Cry Out.
Nicely presented original copy of the highly sought-after Various Artists LP In Progress, released on the People Unite label in 1984 and featuring Misty In Roots, Abacush, African Woman and Pauline. The vinyl retains a very good sheen with some light superficial surface marks and some fine, light hairlines, light scratches and scuffs (mainly on Side Two) - nothing serious - see the descriptions below.
Side One: There are some tiny and occasional very small clicks plus a few slightly more prominent ones. Grade - EX-/EX
Side Two: Some light scratches / scuffing cause very small, small and smallish clicks plus an occasional more prominent one, primarily on tracks 1 & 2. On tracks 3 & 4 there are some tiny and very small clicks plus an occasional more prominent one. Grade - Tracks 1 & 2 - VG/VG+ Tracks 3 & 4 - EX- up to EX-/EX
Labels: Both labels are pristine (see scan).
Sleeve: There is a small amount of light wear to the edges and corners plus some (possibly reversible) light rippling - like you get sometimes when the sleeve has been in its tight shrinkwrap.
