MITHRANDIR – 7” U.K. '82 “DREAMERS OF FORTUNE” - PRIVATE NWOBHM rare!

This is a very obscure, and very rare, limited press 7” single by NWOBHM act MITHRANDIR, released on NEW LEAF records. Features the songs: “Dreamers Of Fortune” / “After Tomorrow” // MITHRANDIR play typical NWOBHM. This 7” ranks among the top-rarities of the NWOBHM genre. This is their second single, and the follow-up to the '82 “Magick” 7” EP. The copy on auction here does not have the original sleeve, but it is a photocopy of the original sleeve, back and front and pasted together as a full-sleeve on 80 grams copy-paper.

Condition of the item:

Sleeve: NOT THE ORIGINAL SLEEVE but a photocopy of the original sleeve, front & back on 80 grams paper, pasted together as a sleeve.

Record (optional grading): Acceptable. A-side: a few scratches across and a few marks. Label has a little stain. B-side: 2 clearly visible scratches, and a small scratch plus quite a few marks across the surface of the record.

Plays: Acceptable: A-side:a lot of cracks and pops, as clearly heard on the semi-acoustic beginning. More pops and cracks throughout and a scratch / tick down the middle of the song for a few spins. No skips or jumps though, B-side: quite a lot of pops, ticks and cracks throughout and a tick for a few spins, but no jumps or skips.

GRADING AND PACKAGING:

I grade all records visibly and by listening to it. I try to provide as much detail as possible about the condition of the item; both sleeve and vinyl. As I have listened to each and every item I sell, I mention if there is any ticks from the moment the music sets in. Most records in general have a few little ticks in the beginning and ending grooves. I include a clear, poly plastic sleeve with all records, and all items are mailed in a cruciform, hard cardboard box with an extra stiffener for extra protection.
