Rare New Jersey Self-Released Psych Folk from 1982
- Sold With No Reserves! - As I continue on my trek towards old fartdom, I'll be listing a lot of my way cool LPs, CDs and pop culture-related memorabilia on eBay in the coming months, so be sure to check back every once in a while, won't you?
This is one rare and strange private pressing LP from New Jersey led by two guys and the main action are the two long heavy fuzz psych tracks, "Devil Moon" (complete with spoken apocalyptic passage), and "Blue Guitar" both of which have ultra wild fuzz dosed guitar. Rest of LP includes folkrock, Jersey shore rock & a weird novelty track "A Visit To The Record Shop". The track "Devil Moon" alone is worth it, that is one total mindblower of garagy heavy psych! If this LP were from a decade earlier like it sounds it would have ‘holy grail’ written all over it...still, it's 33 years old & as far as I know pretty unknown to collectors so far...these guys are off in their own world, real psych style/outsider!  Crude snapshots homemade looking thick b&w cover design has the total private press look.  It includes original heavy stock insert sheet too!  The cover is very good plus w/ some age/ringwear.  Nice edges w/ no seam splits.  The vinyl is very nice w/ original shine.
Good luck ever finding this one again.  Don’t dilly-dally as this one won’t last long!
