Title:  Prague Selection Of Michael Kocáb - Zizen/Thirst

Original czechoslovakian stereo pressing from 1978 on PANTON,8115 0053.This is the first LP by M.Kocáb,who was also a member of the “Prague Big Band”(I offer this one in my auctions!) and of “Mahagon”,he also plays on both band’s first LPs from 1977.Kocáb plays fender rhodes,clavinet,ARP Odyssey & Omni and piano.The 2 sides have been recorded by 2 different line-ups plus guests like Martin Kratchovil on Mini Moog and ARP Omni,B.Mikolásek on sitar and different reed & horn players.Stylisticly it’s funky fusion and a few psych parts in the shorter tracks of the 2 suites,tons of ARP and rhodes on this one!

Condition:the record looks ex(+) with some hairlines,but there’s one exception:there’s a small mark on the first 2 minutes-long track causing tics for ca.30 seconds behind the piano-intro before the band joins in.The rest of the LP plays in mint- to ex++ all of the time.The cover has a nice laminated front,the seams/spine are intact with a little rub,there’s some corner- and shelfwear,on the back is a tiny & small handwritten price,overall ex-.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
