WHY BUY THIS CASSETTE: : MFSL produced Original Master Recording cassette tapes beginning in 1981.  CDs were not yet commercially available and cassettes were gaining significant popularity due to their convenience, especially with regard to the ever-increasing quality of automobile cassette play-back units.  MFSL cassettes were the best in terms of quality.  The music was transferred to high quality chrome tape from the first generation master tape in "real time," as opposed to the high speed reproduction units employed by most every other cassette production facility to this very day.  This is just about the most inefficient, time-consuming, and expensive way to reproduce prerecorded cassette tapes, but it produces the best possible audiophile result for the consumer. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab no longer produces cassette tapes, so availability is pretty much limited to secondary sources. 

ME: I have been an avid music collector for over 35 years and every album/cassette that I offer for sale has been originally purchased and kept by me.

All of my album’s/cassettes have been stored vertically in custom shelving in a smoke and pet free environment (please see photo).

PACKAGING: The cassette is nestled in a protective two-layer bed of bubble wrap. Finally, it is put into a box, not a padded envelope!

INSURANCE: I am not responsible for loss or damage during shipping, therefore I require that the package be insured for full value to protect both you and me.

SHIPPING: I use the United States Post Office for all shipping as they have proved the most reliable. All US addresses are shipped Priority Mail while Canada, UK and other countries are Air Parcel. I will notify you the day I ship and I kindly ask you to confirm receipt via e-mail or eBay message. Shipping in the Continental US is FREE!!!
