Description
Moby Grape: same 1967, USA/Columbia CS 9498. Disc is in beautiful EX to M- shape, a few little hairlines from dust in the inner sleeve can be seen under bright light, plays M- of course. Cover is very clean, a few tiny creases, no unsightly wear at all, it gets an EX grade. Original issue with no song titles on the front cover, has the "finger" on the washboard. This copy has the original uncensored poster as well, in flawless shape. One of the best LPs ever, from anywhere, and like an idiot I'm gonna remind you here that anybody who'd rank a Bruce Springsteen, Van Morrison, Clash or Neil Young LP higher on a list of rock's greatest albums is either deaf or has sh*t for brains. Right from the opening track (about a punk kid who happily spends time with his grandparents so he can swig their Robitussin cough syrup!), this album is a total monster. The playing is astounding and super-tight, the songs are totally engaging and funny, this record is just plain larger-than-life. It's almost cartoonish in its intensity. Nobody ever eclipsed it (not even Moby Grape!) and it's likely nobody ever will.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
