MOBY GRAPE SELF TITLED ORIGINAL 1967 US MONO 1st PRESSING FINGER COVER & POSTER

I have been collecting records for almost 50 years and now it is time to sell some of my collection. I have always tried to collect the best possible vinyl available, always upgrading as I went along. A lot of the LPs I will be listing are still in FACTORY SRINKWRAP with many being virtually unplayed and in mint- condition. All of the LPs that I list will be in at least excellent condition or better.

Up for bid is this outstanding ORIGINAL 1967 US MONO 1st pressing of Moby Grape's self titled LP on the Columbia record label cat # CL 2698 and is still in the ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAP! This has the very rare withdrawn "FINGER" cover and the even rarer "FINGER" poster. This cover was immediately withdrawn because of Don Stevenson's middle finger which was airbrushed out. This LP also contains the MEGA RARE and very hard to find "FINGER" poster. Most of these finger covers have the censored poster. What makes this LP even rarer is that the vinyl appears UNPLAYED!

The original MONO finger cover is in EXCELLENT + condition and is still in the ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAP. There is a small piece of shrink missing on the back and there is also a tear at the bottom. Any wear seen in the pictures is on the shrink and NOT on the cover itself. The cover has 4 sharp corners, a perfect mouth and spine. There are NO splits, NO bends, NO creases, NO drill holes, NO saw cuts, and NO cut corners.

The ORIGINAL 1st press MONO Columbia labels are in MINT condition with NO writing, NO wear and NO SPINDLE MARKS at all suggesting that this LP is UNPLAYED!

The ORIGINAL 1st press vinyl is in EXCELLENT + condition and shines like it was just pressed today and shows no wear or signs of play at all. There are some light hairlines and light marks which should not affect play what so ever.

The MEGA RARE "FINGER" POSTER is in EXCELLENT condition with NO creases, NO pin holes, and no tape marks, this poster clearly has new been hung on a wall. There is how ever some wear at the seams (as can be seen in the pictures) due to the fact that it is made out of heavy paper which makes it prone to seam wear.

This LP is 100% complete with it's ORIGINAL Columbia inner sleeve which is in great condition. Good luck in finding another copy of this LP in this OUTSTANDING CONDITION with the MEGA RARE "FINGER" POSTER! Please take a look at the other LPs that I have for sale.
