Description
I am selling my complete collection of The Beatles and Beatles-related records, albums, alternate versions, and novelties.
This lot is for 2 different LP vinyl records by the MODERN JAZZ QUARTET titled: 1) "MJQ SPACE" released in 1969 under the APPLE RECORDS label #STAO-3360
2) "UNDER THE JASMINE TREE" released in 1969 under the APPLE RECORDS label #ST-53353.
- The MJQ record is in very good to excellent condition.
- The jacket cover is in a gatefold format and is in clean on all sides and is in very good condition, with no split seams. There is a punch-hole located at the upper right-hand corner of the cover - see photos.
- The UNDER THE JASMINE TREE record is in excellent condition. NOTE: The Apple label at the bottom of Side 2 has the hard-to-find "CAPITOL" Records reference that is an indication of an early first pressing. The Apple labels that do not have this reference were pressed at later dates. - The jacket cover is in very good condition with no split seams. There is some wear along the edges on both sides.
This is an LP vinyl record album, 12" in size and 33 1/3 rpm speed.
NOTE: There were only a small limited number of artists that were signed contract under the Beatles Apple Records (Apple Records was created and owned by The Beatles for only a few years), and hence all the different Apple records by the various artists have become a Beatles collector's item. Excluding the Beatles own albums, there were only less than 15 different artists contracted under the APPLE label.
