This is one of the most wonderfully hormonal, infantile, deranged, affectionate, manic-depressive, warm, humane, playful, joyful, (all at the same time) albums of all time, period! Also, this is one of the singularly important albums of 70's rock, and of the Rock music in general, the continuation of the great garage/proto punk tradition of the Velvet Underground, Stooges and MC5. Why?Well, one of the reasons is that John Cale produced it. Another reason is that Jonathan watched each and every Velvets show he could grab a ticket for. Play it and you will know why. Jonathan rules!!! This is one of the very few copies of this album we have ever seen that does not mention "Beserkley" label on cover or label, and which comes on its original "Home of the Hits" label. (a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL  AS  NEAR MINT. Some VERY LIGHT AND SUPERFICIAL abrasions – mostly sleeve scuffs -  are (barely) visible, but are probably inaudible,  and do not affect visual integrity or beauty of the vinyl. The original luster is very much intact, and the vinyl shines and sparkles almost like new.

(b)            The record is pressed on a RELATIVELY  thick, inflexible vinyl. This is NOT a thin, flimsy ('dynaflex' type),  vinyl, but not the thickest, most rigid vinyl, either.

(c)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

COVER IS STRONG NEAR MINT,  STILL IN ITS ORIGINAL ►SHRINK WRAP  (A PIECE OF SHRINK WRAP IS MISSING)

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover has two corners slightly worn (nothing significant)

-         Minor shelf wear noted on the opening side (nothing significant)

-         Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the spine

-        No split seams

-        No cut-out (drill) holes.

-        No cut-out corners

-        No saw-marks or indents

-        No dirt/dust rubbing stains (friction marks caused by rubbing against other covers)

Due to a serious technical glitch with eBay's software (Turbo Lister) which forced us to frantically search for a workaround solution to the problem at the very last moment, we have inadvertently used the wrong version of the upload file which contains WRONG AND POTENTIALLY MISLEADING SUBTITLE FIELD for SOME items (a small group of about five items or so, this one being one of them) . This error does NOT affect any of the actual descriptions of the items, and everything you read in our auction narratives IS absolutely correct; however, the error DOES affect the SUBTITLE FIELD (and subtitle field ALONE),  which incorrectly identifies this pressing as the first pressing (whereas it should identify it either as a second, or early pressing).  We have already made some manual changes on items where we caught the mistake on time, but could not amend other items, as they already received bids and eBay would not allow us to amend them.  Please note that ONLY the subtitle field, and ONLY on a small group of items, is incorrect; all other details (title, description, images, categories, trade policies, etc), remain correct and in effect .
