This is one of the most wonderfully hormonal, infantile, deranged, affectionate, manic-depressive, warm, humane, playful, joyful, (all at the same time) albums of all time, period! Also, this is one of the singularly important albums of 70's rock, and of the Rock music in general, the continuation of the great garage/proto punk tradition of the Velvet Underground, Stooges and MC5. Why?Well, one of the reasons is that John Cale produced it. Another reason is that Jonathan watched each and every Velvets show he could grab a ticket for. Play it and you will know why. Jonathan rules!!! This is only the fourth copy of this album we have ever seen which does not mention "Beserkley" label on cover or label, and which comes on its original "Home of the Hits" label.Track listing: Roadrunner - Astral Plane - Old World - Pablo Picasso - She cracked - Hospital - Someone I care about - Girl Friend - Modern World.

(a)          WE GRADE THE VINYL AS STRONG VERY GOOD+(+) . CAUTION: The vinyl is NOT MINT or NEAR MINT, but is nevertheless in a very nice and clean condition. There are some surface marks and abrasions, mostly light and superficial, although some may be longer than 1.1/4 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters)

(b)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

·       COVER

THE COVER IS ABOUT VERY GOOD+ (VG+)

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-        Cover has some visible ring wear; On the scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the least, and  10 being the most severe), we assess the severity of ring wear as 6.

-        Cover has a visible "wrinkles"(creases)  in three out of four corners

-        Cover has visible wrinkles along the seams

-         Visible shelf wear noted on the seams

-         Cover has all four corners slightly worn / dinged / bent 

-         Cover has three tiny peel-off marks, probably from the careless removal of the price sticker. (less than 1/2 square inch in size)

-         The cover has a few tiny scratch marks on BOTH sides

-         Cover shows JUST A HINT of yellowing on both sides, apparently from aging.  (nothing significant)

-         Cover has some fraying/wear along the spine

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-        No split seams (yet)

-        No cut-out (drill) holes.

-        No cut-out corners

-        No saw-marks or indents

-        No dirt/dust rubbing stains (friction marks caused by rubbing against other covers)

-        No writing

-        No stamps

-        No stains

-        No mold or mildew spots

-        No stickers or labels

-        No water damage

-        No warping

-        No wax, glue, paint or liquid drops on the cover

-        No glue traces or wax residue.

-        No bar codes

-        No RIAA stamps or stickers.
