THE MODS - All The Day / Long Tall Sally (Feathered Apple FA 6500)(PS)    M/M

Monster previously unreleased 1965 Swiss beat/garage doubledecker with killer lead guitar sound! There were only 435 copies of this super rare, long gone debut 45 on the Feathered Apple label made. The Mods came from Winterthur, Switzerland.

It comes with a beautiful printed (and completely undigitalized) six color Picturesleeve that was made and printed up the old way around. The Picturesleeve was also cut, folded, and glued by hand! It took an awfull lot of time to get them together.

The soundquality of this all official never before released 2-sider is perfect, and completely undigitalized.

The A-Side sounds slightly different from the actual released version of All The Day on Layola records (which rates as the best and rarest Swiss 60s garage 45!) The flipside Long Tall Sally was never before released, but it was originally intended to make it onto the flipside of their lone 7" on the Layola label. This could be the best, and fastest version ever of Long Tall Sally ever recorded: with two real frantic lead guitar breaks and some wild screams!

Original copies of All The Day/Nobody's Woman on Layola are valued at about $3000 in M-/M- condition easily. A VG+/VG+ copy of their legendary Layola 7" last went for US $3000 to some collector from Texas in the 90s. It's one of the few truly rare records that have NEVER showed up on eBay so far!
