MO?OLLAR – Mo?ollar. Pharaway Sounds PHS039. Spanish release. FACTORY SEALED LP VINYL RECORD ALBUM. Originally issued in 1976. This edition issued in 2016. Features remastered sound and liner notes by Angela Sawyer. TRACKS:  Katip Arzuhalim Yaz Yare Boyle, Banchelere Geidi Bahar, Hicaz Mandira, Uskudara Giderken, Karsiki Yayla, Yin Bir Gulnihal, Sehnaz Longa, Dream Koprusubolu Bey, Canakkale Icinde Aynali Carsi, Misket, and Ozum Kaldi. DESCRIPTION:  Mo?ollar (sometimes spelled Mogholar) came together during the later mid-60s. In the beginning of the seventies they made records with the most perfect blend of folk, rock, and psychedelica. They called it "Andalousian pop".  In their later work you can still find some nice tracks now and then. The group still exists today. Mo?ollar was formed in 1967 as a joint venture between the members of two famous pop bands of the time: Siluetler and Selçuk Alagöz (Orkestras). At first they set out to play a very wild beat music. They were quickly turned on by the new psychedelia movement and started to play their own brand of psychedelic beat. Young keyboardist Murat Ses lent a hand to produce some of the most exciting psychedelic arrangements of their time. Their record company launched a big campaign on the band in 1968 and their interesting costumes and monster music really got them in front of very surprised crowds. After the head crazy days of 1967-'68 the band went on a large-scale Anatolin tour and decided to take their Turkish music experiments one serious step further, becoming one of the most promising experimental psychedelic bands at the time. Blending psychedelia, ethnomusical experimentation, and rock spirit, their records in '70-'71 are unparalleled works of an almost otherworldly nature. This is their second and last album, along with 1975’s Dum-Tek, to be recorded as dedicated albums; a couple of collections of their early singles were issued on LP. Along with Erkin Koray, the progressive west-meets-Mideast sound of Mo?ollar is an essential album of Turkish modern music. One of the most interesting bands from the '70's to come out of that country. Highly recommended!!!

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers.

RETURN POLICY:

Please e-mail me with specific details and I will get back to you with your options. I ask that if there is a problem with the item that you contact me as soon as possible after receiving it. Any item that must be returned is done so at the buyer’s expense. Any refund, exchange, or substitution/credit will be at the buyer’s choice, but not made until the original item is received back by me; in the condition as stated in the item description. 

NON-ARRIVAL OF PACKAGES:

US Customers:  Please wait at least two weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. All packages are shipped with confirmation/tracking, you will received an automatically generated shipping notice from Ebay e-mail with your tracking number. It has been several years since I’ve had a package not make its US destination, so risk is minimal.

INTERNATIONAL Customers:  Please wait at least 3 weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. I do my best to quickly post packages, but once the package is in the hands of the world’s postal system it is beyond my control. With First-Class Package International Service my only option for investigating the loss of your package is to verify that it left this country to its destination country. Most all delayed/lost packages have disappeared/been delayed after they have reached their destination country. NOTE:  Based on recent buyer feedback, International packages have been moving much slower these days; it is not unusual for a package to take over three weeks for delivery, though normally packages should arrive in 7 to 15 business days.
