Mohama Saz, a band made up of: Adrián Ceballos: drums and vocals (RIP KC, Javier Colis, Melange), Javier Alonso: Baglama Saz and vocals (RIP KC, Novak, Richard Hell), Arturo Pueyo: clarinet and sax (Sur Quintet, Groovin' Santa) and Sergio Ceballos: bass and vocals (RIP KC, Kropotkin Revival, Melange).
In the summer of 2014 the group began to improvise using instruments that they discovered during a brief stay in Turkey, the sound of Mohama Saz was born, a total experience.
With eclectic influences like Erkin Koray, Triana, Sun Ra, John Coltrane, Goat, Tinariwen or Baba Zula, Mohama Saz their music presents itself like an explosion of sounds, from psychedelia to jazz, from rock and roll to 'world music' and borrowing some exquisite influences from ottoman spaghetti western to Suffi trance. All of this enriched with sound and rhythm from oriental Europe and Turkey featuring the clarinet and the Turkey Baglama. But hey, this is not 'fusion' this is Mohama Saz.
