Crypto, France, 1977, gatefold.

Generally clean cover with only some very minor creases at edges and the faintest lines of edge wear. Lp nearly new, few marks, after small bit of groove noise in the dead wax, plays fine.
A stunning example of intricate, developed-composition French symphonic theater-prog. Along with ANGE, this band was the about the closest thing France produced to emulate a Gabriel/ Genesis-type theatrical storybook progressive ethos in their music and performance. Here they display a complex sound with at least as much in common with fellow Crypto label mates like ATLANTIDE, CARPE DIEM, METABOLISME - classic layered symphonic keys, swooshy, slicing Hackett-like guitars, adventurous fast passages.
Another choice relic on the ever-collectable Crypto/ Arcane label, a copy offered by a local seller here sold for $81 on Ebay in 2012, with some bidders bidding as many as 17 times!
