MONDO Army of Darkness Sountrack Vinyl SEALED NEW Blue / Black Vortex Swirl 2015
Condition Notes: As-New, sealed, unopened, and I guarantee it's the rare Blue/Black vortex swirl (limited to 1000 made) from 2015, as I am the one who purchased it. The ONLY issue I see is with the shrink wrap. There are 2 or 3 pulls on the back side that caused ruffles from my record shelf being too tight with records. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS.

Mondo is proud to release the soundtrack to Sam Raimi's Army Of Darkness. Returning, alongside star Bruce Campbell, is masterful composer Joe LoDuca, who also crafted the terrifying scores to the first and second Evil Dead. Like the film, LoDuca's score to Army Of Darkness is an ambitious blending of genre that was ahead of its time. Part swashbuckling adventure, part horror, part comedy, Army Of Darkness saw LoDuca reaching new heights in his composing work, which would later become his forte, as he bounced back and forth between composing for horror films and adventure televisions series such as Hercules and Spartacus.

The artwork for this release is by Richey Beckett and, as you can see, it’s got an explosion of skeletons and evil folk climbing out of the Necronomicon while our hero looks awesome brandishing his trademark boomstick. The music from the 1993 movie was composed by Joseph LoDuca, with the “March of the Dead Theme” written by none other than Danny Elfman. The vinyl features the music performed by the Seattle Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. For those who know about such things, it’s been pressed on Baby Blue & Black Vortex Swirl in the hefty 180 gram that collectors love. You can order it beginning Wednesday, October 28 for $35. It’s limited to 1,000 copies, though, so act faster than not.
