- This rare hard to find OOP Mono album of Mongo Santamaria and His Afro-Latin Group was released in 1962 under the Riverside Label. It is in excellent shape!
- His "Group" included:
- Armondo "Chick" Corea, piano
- Paul Serrano, trumpet
- Pat Patrick, saxaphones and flute
- Al Abreu, tenor sax and flute
- Jose De Paulo, guitar
- Victor Venegas, bass
- Recorded At – Plaza Sound Studios
Label: (EX/NM) Pristine Riverside blue and silver text labels with no spindle wear or blemishes.
Record Grading: (VG+/EX)
Record surface is bright and glossy with light sleeve marks and plays clear and loud with deep groove sound quality and occasional light crackle.
Sleeve Grading: (EX)
Sturdy cover sleeve is bright and glossy and well preserved in the original Factory Shrink (partially torn). Only signs of shelf or storage wear is some light wear on a few corners otherwise this cover is NM.
