This auction is for a RARE MONK TRANE (Thelonious Monk/John Coltrane) 2 LP TEST PRESSING RECORD SET (see pics). These test pressings were produced by MILESTONE RECORDS and are dated DECEMBER 19, 1973.

Note: Milestone Records is a United States based jazz record label, founded in 1966 by Orrin Keepnews and Dick Katz in New York City. Milestone was incorporated into Fantasy Records in 1972, and since then, it has been used for reissues as well as for new recordings. Fantasy Records has ties to Prestige records.

    Condition: These test pressings grade near mint. There are no scratches. Vinyl looks like new. No worping.

    Please note that there are no covers (just sleeves). Being test pressings, they likely never had covers.
