Description

Here is rare opportunity to own a SEALED 1968 pressing of The Monkees 'HEAD' soundtrack album on Colgems Stereo COSO-5008. This album is hard to find at the best of times, but when was the last time you saw a SEALED copy for sale!!!!

The cover is in great condition with what looks like minor scuffing on the unique mylar cover, but the factory seal is intact with no deletion cuts. This is a great opportunity for collectors seeking the ultimate version of the truly bizarre HEAD soundtrack.

Though the album and it's majestic single, The Porpoise Song, sold poorly in 1968 - HEAD (produced by The Monkees and coordinated by actor Jack Nicholson) now looms large in Monkees folklore.

 Let the critics be damned - HEAD is an inventive late '60s psych-pop record with some of The Monkees'  finest songs - and best music of the era.
