Record/Sleeve:

This is a very rare copy of a psych classic. It's one that I didn't hear for a while because it's tricky to get hold of. I was blown away when I did give it a listen (not being a huge Monkees fan) because it's an absolute telly fantastic psych album. It wasn't released in the UK until 1969, so that's why it sold poorly here. The vinyl has a few very light hairlines but in generally the glossy slabs of vinyl look in really clean condition. There is a crackle but nothing that doesn't quickly disappear as the track kicks in - a lovely listen. The vinyl grades as EX


The sleeve is flimsy but does have that nice laminated front. Apart from a couple of creases and a tiny stain, that looks great. There is a little corner/edge wear but it's minimal, plus the spine has held up well too. A little fading to the back but that's really clean, therefore all in all it's a great little sleeve. Because of the light wear mentioned, I will grade as VG +
