This evening I'm listing a nice group of rare jazz LPs (Blue Note, Prestige, Riverside), some Latin LPs and various sealed vintage records. Please note that my international shipping is only for North America, UK, Europe, Japan and Taiwan (I no longer ship to China, Latin America, Southeast Asia and other international locales, due to lost parcel claims). Read my terms of sale below. Thelonious Monk Septet/ Monk's Music. Riverside RLP 12-242. Orig. US pressing. Cover is EX with some yellowing on front laminated cover and brown foxing spots on back; LP is strong VG+ (I use EX in my grading) with some sleeve lines on side 2 and light but audible surface crackle on playback--still has great fidelity. One of the greatest opening jazz tracks of the 20th century--Abide with me--and also the groundbreaking Epistrophy. With Coltrane, Blakey, Hawkins ao. Heavy microgroove first pressing. Very rare.
