NOTE: eBay has implemented its new FEEDBACK policy to which ANY customer for ANY reason or ANY excuse can give sellers (i.e. "us") negative feedback. Please understand, we have served thousands of "satisfied" customers and processed thousands of orders - far more than our feedback records indicate - It is our intention to give EACH and EVERY buyer our best possible service and we are known to ALWAYS deliver your purchased item. ALL items paid for are processsed 'outbound'  to each and EVERY customer, satisfaction guaranteed.  Keep in mind we have serviced THOUSANDS of satisfied customers and our aim is to continue to do so.

We make every effort to mail all orders out Friday of each week.  Keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two at most.   We also strive to keep our shipping and handling costs as close to actual charges as reasonable.

TO OUR REPEAT CUSTOMERSWe often get requests to hold orders to save on shipping.  We are happy to do thatPlease pay your current invoice within five days of auctions ending and IF YOU REQUEST we will hold your order and reflect a shipping discount for each additional order shipped together in the same parcel.   To receive continual shipping discounts, we will hold your orders as long as you want, but it is necessary to pay each invoice you receive to stay current.   Most importantly, we appreciate your business.

             THE DAVE CLARK FIVE

               RETURN!

 ...USA - yellow Epic - LN 24101 - mono

Original MONAURAL with the deep boost production...The second USA release from 1964 features the big beat sound of The Dave Clark Five in their peak, rivaling The Beatles for the crown of the teen scene. A noticable improvement from their first album, with a winning combination of up-front pounding raves to infectious melodies, The DC5 were a powerful force within the 1964 beatrock scene. Top highlight here goes to "Can't You See That She's Mine" a riviting tight groover with a killer catchy sound, It's timeless and still sounding strong. The Dave Clark Five elbowed and bare-knuckled their way through the British Invasion as if a fortune teller told them they had only a few years to live. As a drummer, Clark was an unusual leader for a rock band. He set up his drums at the front of the stage and performed vivaciously. He sang with enthusiasm. Looking at the song credits it would appear that Clark wrote prolifically, but according to the rest of the band this was contractual. Keyboard player Mike Smith seems to be the catalyst for the sizable Dave Clark Five song deluge, with other credits going to guitarist Lenny Davidson, and Denny Payton. Rick Huxley was the bass player. On the recordings, the drums are noticeably well-recorded, and turned up a notch higher than on many British Invasion albums. Clark's vocal lines are punctuated with flashy drum fills. Song bridges are not resorted too often, in favor of up-tempo verse/chorus patterns that tend not to dwell on emotion, getting right to the point, then ending. After an album or two of this the DC5 sound and enthusiasm begins to become very additive to the listener. Here then, the big beat sound of 1964's RETURN! The Dave Clark Five's 2nd album in glorious MONO...
