We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. CLEAN (( MONO)) ORIGINAL 1967 first pressing and very first album by Lost Angeles California head crew, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band ...
This LP IS Nothing like their later country stuff, rather the twisted musical roots by a fresh unit of hippie freaks groovin' on out to another dimension, the pot smoking freak brothers stoned zones kickin' back in time.
Highlight track includes a first class winner; none better than the forever infectious "Buy For Me The Rain' a stuck-in-the-mind melody that won't leave the listeners head...similar and up there with anything on the New Tweedy Brothers album of greatness and style in dropping by the 20's with a zany flash of gold rush madness as found in the decidedly thrilling "Euphoria." Elsewhere there's a couple of cool Byrds styled tunes, and on they go with never a dull moment...the delightful "Dismal Swamp" (which was anything but dismal), the Jackson Browne ballad "Holding," and the rousing "You're Gonna Get It in the End," and Bruce Kunkel's haunting, ethereal "Song to Jutta" (as fine a song as anything the Byrds were doing at the time, and better played). In those days, the band wasn't too far removed from the sound of the early Grateful Dead or the Charlatans, but as this album reveals, these guys were "for real," man....

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: "EX" (excellent) is solid and strong on all parts... clean 52+ year old artifact with no delete marks, there are no bends, no split seams and no writing or problems.
The vinyl: Rated: near M- both sides are all glossy; with CLEAN grooves from beginning to end ...both (MONO) Liberty labels are clean too! "it swings!"
