*MONO* 200 Gram, Jimi Hendrix "AXIS, BOLD AS LOVE" from orig MONO master tapes

This auction is for a MONO Classic Records pressing of Axis, Bold as Love by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. If you have not had the pleasure of hearing the MONO version of this work (also known as "have you ever been MONO Experienced") then be "be forewarned" as was said on the first album- on first listen you will probably be taken aback at what you thought you knew about "Axis". Gone are the pyrotechnics of "STEREO", and so what you are left with is great songs, recorded well and the subtly and power of the master's hand. Be forewarned. This copy is in nearly flawless condition in all respects as seen in these images, both of the vinyl and the jacket. It has been stored in a Mobile Fidelity sleeve. In the photos, any "dust" you might see is only from the air-NOT, in the vinyl in any way. Even after playing, there is very minimal debris. I (personally) would consider this a "mint" as flaws of the vinyl as well as the jacket, I would suggest are within the virtually negligible level, and although this pressing is manufactured at way above "standards", not many (if any) are truly "flawless. That said, for this listing I will call both the vinyl and the jacket at NM-. I would suggest, that to find another 200 gram (in this case, 206 gm, Classic Records probably factored the label weight) in finer condition than this one would be only to frustrate ones self. UPDATE: I have played this in it's entirety again (I had played this 3 time previously) with a brand new (after 80 hours of break-in) GRADO cartridge. The dynamics are high, and there was NO discernible distortion. It sounded warm, with very close to a "black" background (at least that is how my system saw it). It is packaged up and ready to go out as soon as SOLD.
BTW, the LP will be shipped outside of the jacket, with careful attention to corners.
