We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 22+,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - Jim Waller and the Deltas were a HIGHLY impressive talented reverb garage SURF inspired teen-scene group from Fresno, California. The Delta's featured Jim Waller on keys, Terry Christofsen on guitar, Ray Carlson on blasting winds, Edie Atkinson on bass, and Jeff Christensen on drums.
- Reportedly, so talented, they turned down a management offer from Murray (Brian's dad) Wilson at one point. Besides two singles,
- Surfin' Wild is the band's only album release and it remains at the top of such classics.
'Surfin' Wild' overall inspired - rocks hard.
- 'Exotic' evokes wistful melodies of the far-east, while 'Trippin' and Trestles' finally allows the band to delve into some material more rooted in garage 'surf'dom. The reverby qualities added to 'Work Song' really work well here. A far more acoustic rendition of 'Latin'ia' feels somehow more authentic to its' cultural source than the electric rhythm most surf bands approached.
- The ever-dependable 'Church Key' is another highlight. 'Body Wompin' certainly deserves a place among the top surf tracks of the era and does the steady groove of 'Surf Walk.' Other tunes such as the Beach Boy's 'Surfin'' get a strong makeover. A fairly straightforward take on the Surftones' 'Vesuvius' is brief, yet potent.
- Interestingly, original '63 (absolutely this '63 PROMO pressings) carry a mastering mistake with an early fade-out that follows an ill-placed snippet on the comparatively tame surf jam 'Waikiki Wipeout' begins.
- "Bal" Beat' is a jammer, and a darn solid one!!
