Description
Here’s an original mono pressing of the “Strange Days”, the 2nd LP by the Doors. It’s an original mono pressing from 1967 on the Elektra label, number EKL-4014. The vinyl grades VG++, a couple paper scuffs on side A, nice gloss. The trail-offs have “mon” as well as “MR” in a circle, indicitave of a West Coast Monarch pressing. These are generally considered to be the best sounding of the original pressings. The cover has some corner wear, and a small name written in ballpoint pen on the back. The original custom innersleeve is present, but it is tattered along the top edge. This LP came out just as the record industy was phasing out the mono format, and they were pressed in very limited quantities. Also, it’s tough to find this album in this kind of condition!
