Here is a RARE album from my collection offered up for auction: An Original MONO pressing of "England's Newest Hit Makers The Rolling Stones", their 1st album, looks minimally played! This is a 1966 pressing on London Records LL 3375 LONG PLAY MONO. This music is great early stuff from the group including Chuck Berry's "Carol", Buddy Holly's "Not Fade Away" (Holly died just 5 years prior in February of 1959 in an air crash), Willie Dixon's "I just want to make love to you", Route 66, Honest I do, Little by little, I'm a King Bee, PLUS the Stones 1st self-penned song "Tell Me" and more! Record rates solid VG+, close to EX, is glossy and clean, side one has a few light marks, nothing heavy or that you can feel, side two looks EX, only a couple of light marks. This disc has been PLAY TESTED, plays with excellent clear sound quality from start to finish, minimal surface noise! An enjoyable listen! No skips, no jumps! The circa 1960's LONG PLAYING logo labels are in great shape, no signatures, no heavy spindle wear! (see photos). The cover rates VG+ , close to EX, has deep color, bright white, no ugly stains, no writing, all edges solid, no splits, no tape, the binder edge is readable, there is some edge and corner wear, bottom opening corner has extra wear and a bump (not split) also a punch hole, faint water mark on back near top opening edge. (see photos) Great portrait of the band! Includes the original London printed inner sleeve in EX condition, has punch hole but no splits, no wear! Own it now with my fair BUY IT NOW price!
