I took in a small collection of psych records recently. Most are in very playable condition! Not Near Mint, however. This first batch are all MONO copies!  Check my other auctions, okay?

 MONO Psych LP 1967 Jefferson Airplane After Bathing at Baxter’s RARE PROMO COVER!

(This title always sounded funny to me.  Where I grew up, Baxter’s was a dog kennel.)

Definitely a first-day issue, this copy has the promotional marking at the top left corner of the back cover, plus first-day plates.  Read on:

Vinyl--- VG/ VG.  That doesn’t mean the vinyl is covered in so many deep scratches that it makes your cat’s ears twitch constantly in several directions simultaneously.  It means that each side has a moderate amount of very light scratches.  Side 2 has two dots in the first track that you can feel with your fingertip.  Otherwise, this disc retains a good 75% original shine.

Plates--- A2/ A1.  Undoubtedly a first-day issue.

Cover--- VG.  There are only two issues.  First, the top seam has heavy shelfwear.  Secondly, the inside gatefold has moderate ringwear.  See photos.

Top left of the back cover has the “NOT FOR SALE PROMOTION USE ONLY” disclaimer embossed into the cover.

Labels--- VG+/ VG+.  A moderate amount of spindle marks.

Inner Sleeve--- VG.  Original inner sleeve with hippie art is present.  Sleeve has yellowed.  There’s a small hole torn into one side.  Bottom has a center seam split about one inch.

A generic white sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original RCA sleeve en route.

CAUTION!  There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.  A word to the wise, I have started blocking any and all bidders who retract their bids regardless of the reason.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
