Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Sunshine Superman contains some of the earliest examples of psychedelia and represents a big step forward for Donovan. With this album he moves away from the gentle acoustic folk music of his earlier records and towards a more imaginative sound, introducing sitars, harpsichords, tablas and chamber quartets. One of the best & favourite Donovan albums...As well as the title track "Sunshine Superman" which was a big hit single for Donovan, there are some other songs on this album that are equally good. The heavy, menacing "Season Of The Witch" and the bouncy, upbeat "The Trip" are my two favourite tracks and in fact I would class them both among Donovan's best work. "Guinevere" is an almost dirge-like medieval song but it actually works and sounds great, while the closing track "Celeste" is an absolutely gorgeous ballad. Then there's the eastern-influenced "Three King Fishers" and the epic poem "Legend of a Girl Child Linda" which has some wonderful fairytale imagery, and at almost seven minutes ... Donovan wrote Sunshine Superman before the Beatles even thought about recording such music, Micky Most the producer told Donovan not to play the track for Paul McCartney, but he did, because they were friends, and there soon after you saw "Revolver" released....
CONDITION: The Cover: is nice clean MINT in original factory shrink wrapper = a really nice copy with NO delete marks, no bends, no split seams and no writing ...and a gold promotional sticker on front which only raises the value as a pre-release limited PROMO edition
The Vinyl: is a clean M- shiny & smooth clear grooves across both sides ...The Epic labels are both CLEAN....
