Description

MONO The Beatles REVOLVER U.k. 1966 PARLOPHONE PMC 7009. 2nd issue from 1966 featuring Dr. Robert printed on labels and cover. Serif typeface with no UK tax code embossed on labels. Mono mix early edition, Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. flipback sleeve with laminated front cover.
VINYL in VG condition, solid listen, this has been my go-to copy for years, not a perfect copy but still rocks hard. The MONO version of this is spectacular compared to the Stereo. There are several light hairlines on the vinyl, but the background crackle does not overwhelm music. I always press the "mono" button on my receiver that greatly reduces background crackle, and focuses the sound. I was able to do a side-by-sede comparison with a copy of the newer 2014 Mono reissue, and though the reissue sounded great, I chose to stick with my VG original because it sounded better to my ears, more detail and "punch". The original just had more color and "mojo" than the modern reissue.
COVER in VG with yellowing, creasing especially along the spine, corner bends on the upper and lower left hand side. The spine is readable with some laminate starting to chip.
