CHERRY RED CHERRY-51 UK 1983 7" ORIGINAL BLUE LABEL ECHANTILLON TEST PRESSING + PLAIN TEST PRESS SLEEVE DATED  29.SEP.1982 + ORIGINAL CHERRY RED PRESS RELEASE

Matrix side A: 425 CHERRY51 A POLYGRAM A1 ?topia.
Matrix side B: 425 CHERRY51 B POLYGRAM A1 REBIRTH. ?topia.

Very rare original blue label test pressing (these were made in France) of an excellent single by the great art-punk new wave band that turned indie-pop after the departure of founder member Lester Square. Here they are doing a really good indie-folk indie-pop cowboy song written by Bid and Andy Warren (former Adam Ant bassist). Comes complete with original sleeve with handwritten notes and stamped date 29.9.1982 plus the original press release. Not sure if this is the final cut as used in the actual release as on the matrix this has 'POLYGRAM A1' on both sides while the actual release has 'POLYGRAM A3'  - a great punk new wave collectible in superb condition.
