Description Black Sun Ensemble on Pyknotic (PYK-1000). Mix equal parts of Ancient Egypt, Free Jazz, Hendrix Guitar, and over the top Psych Jams. This record by Tucson's Black Sun Ensemble fronted by guitarist Jesus Acedo, is all of that and more. If you've heard the 1st Reckless LP, just imagine all of the more intense instrumental passages as one full album. The band released a tiny pressing of these with a B+W cover and this is of a subsequent 200 hand inked covers. I've compared this with my copy bought in Tuscon back in '85 and the record looks the same. The cover on this is mint, and numbered #133/200. The record is mint. Recommended.
