Label:   RIVERSIDE.  Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl.  Label is “large” blue with silver text, with wide deep groove.  Catalog number is RLP 362. 

Year:  1961.

Monk Montgomery – bass

Bobby Thomas – drums.    

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is beautiful VG++/NM with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.  A-side has a couple minor scuffs, nothing serious.  B-side is gorgeous NEAR MINT with no marks.  Fidelity is excellent.  Labels are clean.  You will be hard pressed to find a nicer sounding copy.

JACKET:   Jacket is VG+ with noticeable signs of wear and handling, but still quite presentable.   Front panel has light ring wear and surface wear.  Seams and spine have light wear and some chipping; top seam is split approximately 5 inches at top right opening.  Reverse has 3 promotional stamps and the DJ’s name (Fat Daddy) written along opening edge.

NOTE:  Came from the amazing estate collection of legendary Baltimore rhythm & blues deejay Paul “Fat Daddy” Johnson.
