Monument was a side project of the members from the band Zior. I've never considered Zior as one of my favourite bands but their two studio albums are pretty enjoyable still. However this only Monument album might be the best record these guys ever made. I like this one slightly more than I like Zior's two albums.

This is definitely not a forgotten masterpiece of the psych/prog rock genres but it's an enjoyable listen from the start to the finish. Lots of keyboards here and I like the sound of this band very much. I also like the album cover a lot. Nothing major to criticize on this album. It's a solid mix of progressive rock, psychedelia and hard rock with some quite dark lyrics and themes.
