Instrumental film hits from '70s Bollywood by cult arrangers including Charanjit Singh / Suresh / Shridhar Kenkare / Kanhaiyalal and Sunil Ganguly. Features some unusual mood music. Charanjit Singh's weirdo drum machine beats, dub bass and oriental drone from his Transicord keyboard on "Beqarar Dil" (from the film Door Ka Rahi) remind us of Italian Library and certain A.R. Luciani on Publispei label. Just a few years later, Charanjit would drop his insane proto acid house - techno grail, Synthesizing - Ten Ragas To A Disco Beat ;) Modal-esque jazzy lounge with trippy percussion on the peaceful, spiritual "Dil Jalta Hai To Jalne De'" by Suresh (from the film Pehli Nazar) and Alessandroni style sitar on "Gori Tera Gaon" by Shridhar Kenkare (from the film Chitchor). More cinematic lounge with traditional instruments on the slightly more ethnic "Yeh Dil Aur Unki Nigahon Ke Saaye" by Kanhaiyalal (from the film Prem Parbat). Great for exotica DJs! Disc cut loud with big production sound. Cool stuff indeed on this strange 45rpm Lp release :) Italian postage costs (see below) are banded by weight. We estimate 520 grams for this item, including packaging
