On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Moody Blues called 'Octave' and is an ORIGINAL 1978 PROMOTIONAL ONLY 1st pressing on Blue vinyl!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  HOWEVER IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO MAKE CLEAR THAT THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE 'PROMOTIONAL' BLUE VINYL 1ST PRESSING - AND NOT ONE OF THOSE VERY COMMON 'LIMITED EDITION 5000 COPIES' VERSION THAT SEEMS TO BE APPEARING EVERYWHERE AT THE MOMENT.  IN THE U.S. ONLY A TINY AMOUNT OF GENIUNE PROMOTIONAL 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER PRESSED - BEFORE THE COMMON 'LIMITED EDITION 5000 COPIES' BLUE VINYL VERSION THAT CAME LATER.  DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE MASSIVE RARITY OF THIS LP!!!!  GENIUNE (AND I CANNOT STRESS THE WORD GENIUNE ENOUGH) 1978 U.S. BLUE VINYL PROMOTIONAL 1ST PRESSINGS ARE SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  AND THESE DIFFER GREATLY WHEN COMPARED TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  FIRSTLY THERE IS NO STICKER ON THE COVER ITSELF (LATER ONES DO), AND INSTEAD A STICKER WAS PUT ON THE OUTER SEAL WHICH YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE IN MY CLOSE UP PICTURE!!!!  AND THIS MEANS THAT UNLESS YOU FIND A 100% GENIUNE U.S. 1978 PROMOTIONAL BLUE VINYL PRESSING STILL WITH ITS ORIGINAL OUTER SEAL - THEN THE 'PROMOTIONAL' STICKER WILL LOST!!!!  LUCKILY THE PREVIOUS OWNER OF THIS LP WAS AMAZINGLY CAREFUL AND KEPT THIS LP IN A PLASTIC SLEEVE FROM NEW - AND BECAUSE OF THE MEGA RARE STICKER - HE NEVER REMOVED THE ORIGINAL OUTER SEAL!!!!  THE RECORD IS ALSO 100% GENIUNE TO THE COVER TOO - AND HAS 'STERLING' STAMPED ON BOTH RUN OFF GROOVES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1978 U.S. 'PROMOTIONAL' BLUE VINYL 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS LONDON LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'PICTURE' INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'PROMOTIONAL' STICKER ON THE OUTER COVER SEAL, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL London U.S 'Promotional' Blue Vinyl 1st pressing from 1978 and is in AWESOME condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is PS 708 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press London Label (see picture) and is an ORIGINAL U.S. 1978 Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Moody Blues at their best!!!! Any fan of The Moody Blues, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and AMAZINGLY only 1 TINY spindle mark!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED ONCE!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and NO marks!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS AWESOME!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade MINT(Minus)!!!! AWESOME RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Picture' inner sleeve which is in MINT condition!!!!  The MEGA RARE 'Promotional' STICKER on the outer seal is in MINT condition!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has been FULLY protected by its original seal right to the opening edge - and as a result it has remained in INCREDIBLE condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), NO creases (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside will be in STONE MINT condition - as this cover has NEVER been removed from its original 'outer seal' and has NEVER been opened!!!!  The cover must grade MINT(MInus)!!!! AWESOME COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
