MOONDOG and his Friends, 1st Recording EPIC LG1002, 1953, MONO 33RPM 10" inch. This is the extremely rare, much wanted, first record put out by the famous musical genius and NYC Icon; MOONDOG!!! . This is a 1st edition MONO 33 RPM LP(10"). The disc plays very well, has no skips. I am not a professional but from what I have read, this copy would easily be a VG-. The sleeve is intact and is split on the spine but intact, the sleeve would be an easy GD, maybe very conservatively a GD-. There does not appear to be any scratches on the audio recording part of this disc. It plays without a skip, some pops, and wear but in very nice shape period. There is a scratch on one side, on the non-audio "Dead walk" end of the disc only. This doesn't effect the audio play period. You can see it in the photo's close-up. I repeat: "There are no skips" ...VERY RARE FIND HERE!!!-this record actually came from my fathers collection. He was a long-time NYC working musician who was friends with Moondog. We lived a couple of blocks from where Moondog would park himself dressed in all his royal-viking looking attire. a true genius and a great celebrated NYC icon.--GREATLY REDUCED PRICE!!---- ALL GENUINE OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED!!!!!!
