COVER CONDITION : NO COVER, as issued. includes the original blank sleeve with cool 'MOONDOG' library tag still affixed. also includes many paper promotional materials, details below.

VINYL CONDITION : VG+ nice gloss, various scuffs & small surface marks, some minor pressing bumps. could use a proper 78 cleaning which i'll leave to the new owner. 

NOTES : scarce original 1953 78rpm 10" 4 track version, WHITE LABEL PROMO pressing. features 4 tracks for the 7" EP of the same title, also on MARS, from the same year. interestingly MARS was WOODY HERMAN'S own small private new york label, with moondog being only 1 of 2 non-herman releases during its short existence. this promo 78 version is always a tough score, but especially rare including the load of wonderful PROMO-ONLY paper items included here. along with the 78 itself are included : HAND-TYPED PROMO LETTER, TWO PAGE PROMO SHEET (with great detailed notes on moondog himself & these recordings), fantastic small PROMO POSTER (with BILLBOARD review), and 'MOONDOG AND HIS STRANGE MUSIC' 4 page promotional booklet. the booklet was publish by EPIC but seemingly the labels shared some promotional materials. all paper goods in very nice condition. letter is slightly discolored. promo letter & promo sheet both folded center. a very cool bundle of early moondog ephemera for the serious fan.

- for grading i use : M (rarely) / NM / NM- / EX / VG++ / VG+ / VG / VG- / F graded under bright bare-bulb direct light… unless there are specific mentions of audio quality please consider grading as VISUAL ONLY.

- i pack very solid using new high quality heavy weight lp mailers with two (or more) new cardboard filler pads. all unsealed lps are shipped out of the cover, and new inner sleeves & polybags will be added when needed. always willing to double box, etc. as requested, at slight extra cost.

lp - $5.00 tracked media mail in the usa.

lp - $10.00-$16.00 priority mail in the usa, rates vary. 

lp - $15.00 1st class airmail to canada.

lp - $24.00 overseas 1st class airmail.

lp - $36.00 overseas registered airmail.
