Super rare original UK Acid Folk Psych LP. This is a really superb barely played original UK first pressing. This has to be one of the best surviving copies out there, & the only original first UK pressing of 'Moonkyte' available on eBay right now. This album rarely gets offered in such amazing condition as this. Now 53 years old, & Probably only carefully played just a couple of times since new.
The vinyl has a superb as good as new clean deep glossy sheen, & it's obvious that this rare album has been very well looked after, & barely even played at all. There are no visible surface marks, scuffs, or scratches at all. No surface marks, & so hardly any clicks or pops, & barely any background static crackle. The audio is excellent throughout, showing no lessening in the sound quality. Just a stunning looking, playing, sounding original first pressing. The vinyl does have the slightest of edge warps, but this is so minor, that it has no effect on play at all.
Both labels are in MINT- as new condition. No marks or signs of wear, these labels are just about perfect.
The outer card cover, with delicate die-cut front spire, is also in really nice shape. It's near impossible to find this fragile unlaminated thin card cover without the spire, untorn, or damaged in some way. The few original UK copies that do surface, usually either have the spire torn, repaired with tape, or some have the spire missing altogether. But, this cover has no damage to the die-cut spire whatsoever. The cover does have a little light storage wear, but nothing bad at all. All spine text is bold & clear & easy to read.
The original thin paper inner sleeve with printed lyrics, is also in excellent shape. Extremely clean front & back. No marks, no rips, no tears. There is just one extremely small seem break right at the centre of the bottom edge, this really is very small, & am guessing that many would not even mention it. The vinyl has spent most years placed inside a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve, this to prevent any further damage to the original lyric inner. A near perfect original inner sleeve, with just the one minor small flaw.
I pack my records very well. Before sending, I always remove the Inner sleeve with vinyl from the outer cover, this will prevent any sleeve seam splits during transit. I will only send this item by recorded signed-for post.
