*********A MAGNIFICENT EXAMPLE**************

If you're looking for the most essential old-school death metal album, search is over. This is one of the two greatest to come out of the United States (thinking about LEPROSY by DEATH), an album I knew even before this beauty. So it's the pair of these two that are essential for old-school death metal completed by Left Hand Path and of course Morbid Angel's "ALTARS OF MADNESS".

This is a classic from start to finish. Trademark death metal vocals, riffing and the surprisingly developed lead guitar work make this one an essential listen.

"This is a very strong album and a flagship for the genre and metal in general. Fall from Grace is one of the best death metal tracks ever written IMHO.

Why Altars of Madness gets all the praise seems to me a production issue more than anything. Blessed is very clean in comparison, it lacks the rawness of recordings done on lower budgets, but on the flipside the clarity and stereo imaging is outstanding. And this original vinyl pressing is an absolute stonker. When I first spun it on my system, I was blown away. After years of listening on cassette as a youth, it never sounded so rich and full." (review from discogs.com).

If you're looking for essential death metal or '90's extreme metal done extremely well, you can simply not pass this over. This is the embodiment of all that is great in death metal. I can't believe this record has over 30 years but it's aging well. (review from: rateyourmusic.com)

Extremely hard to find death metal album (on vinyl) with stunning songcraft!! This album flows like no other and is probably their most accomplished piece of work. Heavy vinyl in EX condition.

Vinyl: NM.  This is the proper first press. Either barely played or quite possibly unplayed!! The vinyl is splendid without any marks or hairlines. The replay is phenomenal and for me definitely beats the cd version. No clicks, skips, jumps etc. No background noise. Unbelievable musicianship and no wonder that this album is so much sought after.

Sleeve: NM. Full rich colours. Over the counter condition. All edges are perfect. The spine is fully legible. Just look at the pictures. Notoriously hard to find album! NO creases, NO tears, NO writing etc. This is a stunning example and an archive / museum copy.

Please observe all pictures as these are part of the description.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. But in this great condition ....? Golddust!!

Postage for items over £30 will incur an extra fee for tracking to be added to international postage. This will be at actual Royal Mail rate. Before paying please wait for me to adjust the invoice.

Though there are rarely ever any problems with my items, I always try my very best to describe everything exactly!  PLEASE REMEMBER to contact me FIRST,  if you have any problems at all, before you leave feedback and star ratings, so I get a chance to turn any negative experience into a positive one!  I can always happily sort anything out for you, if you let me know you have a problem!  This way no one has to leave Negative/Neutral feedback - and we both walk away happy! Similarly with the amount of stars, anything less than a full 5 * rating is effectively detrimental to a seller's rating as lower ratings will incur higher Final Value Fees  and lower priority in the bidlists eventually making it unattractive to list items on Ebay at all. I know of at least one major previous Ebay seller who has decided not to list via Ebay again. Please do NOT bid if you cannot give me at least 1 chance to sort everything out to your FULL satisfaction in the unlikely event of a problem.  Thanks again!!

This an excellent investment opportunity!!! Any questions please ask me and I will try to answer soon.
